We Must...

We, as parents, must create awareness in the home and the community. We must broadcast the dangers of bullying as loud as we possibly can. We must  encourage and support our schools in implementing  effective programs to address the problems of bullying. This is a problem that can affect our young people at school, on the bus, on the internet and in the community. Having been a parent of a bullied child, I know the feeling of receiving a phone call because your child has been assaulted. I, also  know the feeling of having to discipline when the aggressive child is your own.  We need to make public safety a top priority; whether in the school,  or community  it is every child's right to feel safe. We know the effort it takes to conquer bullying and it is now time to act"!
